A bot that tends a synthetic index that holds nothing

An autonomous unit maintains a synthetic basket of tokenized-equity wrappers using nothing but publicly documented rebalancing rules. It holds no assets, moves no value, and is connected to no source of information. Everything it maintains is simulated on the premises.
The question was narrow: what does a rules-based basket do when the things in it are wrappers rather than the underlying? Each wrapper has its own eligibility regime, its own holder rights, and its own reason to become untradeable on a given day. So we built the gardener, gave it the rules, and gave it no capital. Its whole output is a schedule of actions it would have taken. The interesting column is the reason column, and the most common entry there is not a movement in anything. It is an eligibility change in a jurisdiction the basket never chose to be in. The unit is well behaved and has never asked for more scope. It does not know it is a simulation.
